Ellie Eden is fifteen years old and lives in Sevenoaks where she is a music scholar at Walthamstow Hall School.  Ellie began learning clarinet at the age of eight with John Brightwell.  She is a member of Kent Youth Wind Orchestra and has attended master classes with Emma Johnson.  In addition to clarinet, Ellie plays piano and saxophone.  She regularly performs on all three instruments in the Sevenoaks Three Arts Festival and recently won the Medway Music Festival Junior Championship award with her duet partner Jessica Shoobridge.  Ellie was the winner of the 2009 Marlowe Young Musician of the Year.

Ellie has started her GSCE studies and has joined Kent Music Academy to expand her experience in performing and composing.
