Charlotte Seale
Harp
Charlotte Seale studied the harp with Tina Bonifacio, and then at the Conservatoire de Bruxelles, where she was awarded the Premier Prix with distinction. She won a Countess of Munster Scholarship to continue her studies with Edward Witsenburg in The Hague. She was principal Harpist with the BBC Northern Radio Orchestra for eight years and now freelances in London playing with the major London Orchestras. She is professor of harp at the Royal Academy of Music, the Guildhall School of Music and Trinity College of Music, and head of the harp department at the Purcell School. She is founder and director of the internationally renowned Benslar Harp course.
