Jonathan Duke studied at Trinity College of Music, London where he was a pupil of John Bingham. He was also a pupil of Christine Crowshaw for piano accompaniment for which he was awarded the Lilian Florence Smith Prize. Jonathan is a successful teacher and soloist performing piano recitals and working as accompanist for other instrumentalists. He recently appeared at 'Sounds New 2003' in Canterbury and plays regularly with his group 'The Duke Ensemble' (www.duke-ensemble.com), which provides music for corporate events in London and the South East. He has recorded a CD with the oboist John Williams and has worked with the clarinettists Jack Brymer & David Campbell.
